hi yall im new to this forum im gonna be buying an 87 rx7 turbo. i got a few ???
1st.what do they run in the 1/4
2nd what are some good first mods
3rd what are they capable of running in the 1/4

1st.Depends on car and driver. 15-17 sec
2nd.Fuel Cut Defender, Intake, Exhaust, Injectors, Intercooler, Clutch, Flywheel, Wheels, Plugs and Wires.
3rd.9's with a lot of money and time.

My friend's TII went 14.1 before he blew his motor. Although I've heard that the stock TII turbo with the right amount of mods can break 13's. It all depends on the car really.

As for the mods, I'd say go with a good free-flowing exhaust system. Also making sure that the struts are still good. Bad struts can lead to wheel hop. All you have to keep in mind is what you're trying to accomplish, then work from there. Like if your going to do SCCA then I would say work your suspension first. But if you're going to stick mainly to 1/4 mile work the motor. That's all just my opinion, you may want to go a different route.
