im thinkin about getting an apexi n1 for my 89 gtu and want to know weather it would make any difference sound or horsepower wise if it was single or dual mufflers. and also, do they sound good w/ headers?
time to learn the search button my friend...been covered many times. singles are going to be loud especially on your na. go racing beat dual/quality,performance,quiet best of all worlds.

Its deeper, and noticeable but not too loud. Then again I'm runnin stock cats and header. Power wise you'll notice it at higher rpms.

wow K!NCH yours sounds alot deeper than mine, i have a rb headers, Aero high flow cat and the N1 cat back, i had to extend the cat back a lil ways for it to reach out of the rear bumper because the aero cat is so short. but mine is a lil higher pitched and LOUD AS EFF when you are on it.

problem with mine is that the dumbass exhaust shop put the air line AFTER the cat, so IT doesnt work for what it was made for AND i have a lot of i dunno afterburn or whatever u wanna call it.
