When I was 16 or so... and benching over 250lbs.... (I'm still only 5'6")

Regardless it is pretty light though... but you still have to hold it up and line it up.. not the easiest thing, but it gets the job done.

I've only done the tranny /clutch in my chevette, and they're pretty light, I'd guess (only haivng to handle 70HP and even then you can break them!).. but $1500 sounds crazy! me and a friend did it in less than 2hours (in AND out). pretty easy job.
$1200 CDN got me a motor, AND the motor changed, at a mechanic, in my fiero! (and putting a big v6 into the tiny fiero engine bay is NOT a fun job

yah i do suck at spelling...i dont pretend to be great at it...i dont see why u so bitter about it:-D but u know i did pass english to get into college...its kinda a requirment:-D in these parts....but dont be so bitter man...dont worry, be happy....if spelling bothers you so much i say you become a teacher! a grand idea

hey you live up in ontario canada , i was up there not to long ago and it took about 1 day of solid driving to get there , kevin lived about 2 hrs away and he will hook up linikage and everything , even rearend for about $1,500
with just the T2 tranny he will do it for about $1,00-$1,200 !

hey , i know putting a transmission in is very easy , im taking an automatic car and making it a Manual car , means installing pedals and slaves and controlers, linkage , i think the tranny will be ez but all the outher stuff ied need someone who knew what they were doing to do it , HEY wait MY GRANDAPA does race cars ill ask him what he thinks!
