Hey guys!
Quick question, can over filling oil in your rotary cause lack of power when you put it on heavy load?? also not redlining?

There's a lot of misinformation here.
First, oil level does not have anything to do with oil pressure. As long as the pump can pick up oil, the pressure will be set by the speed of the engine and the oil pressure regulator.
Second, nothing horrible will happen if you overfill the engine. Since there isn't an issue with windage in the rotary, a bit more oil is not an issue. I generally over fill by about a quart so I don't have to add oil between changes.
Third, you can end up frothing up the oil with the oil pump drive chain if you overfill. Usually this isn't much of an issue since the pickup is at the bottom of the pan.
