my names mike and ive loved 2nd gen rx7 my whole life my dad owned one and built a rotary engine from scratch now im here my plan is to buy a 2nd gen with sezied motor that shouldnt be to hard lol and then i will put new engine in it do other repairs and of course get a paint job aand rims so i just want to know what you would recomend that i buy the glx (isnt that the turbo) what exact year to look for what a should look out for and other knowledge again i thankyou in advance -mike

 

No a gxl is not the turbo model the TII is I can't believe you don't know that. And as for what to look for I would say anything other than a SE which is a base model 4 lug car, if I were looking for a specific car I would look for a RX-7 with a sports package or a GTU or a TII.

 

The GXL is the loaded N/a model. the turbo FC is the TII it says turbo II on the side i think.
