the filter in the tank or the one near the engine bay?????

i replaced the front one about 6k miles ago, but i'm pretty sure the one in the tank is OLD.

oh, nevermind ......it's painted black duh,

The main fuel filter in the engine bay. The one in the tank I think is a mazda only part. I dont' think I have seen any listings for that at any site/store.

That sock may come with the replacement nonOEM fuel pumps they sell...I'll ask when I'm there. ****, I'll see if they have any generic socks as well.

reason i ask is that sometimes i get a stuttering feeling at high rpm's. i'm not sure if it's a fuel or spark issue.

FYI, autozone carries a replacement fuel sock for ~12-14USD!

well, my high boost misfire seemed obvious. i was at 20psi with stock turbo, injectors and IC. but when i put my stock intake back on, it still did it at 12 psi. so now i'm confused.
