Hesitations came back >:O
Hey all, Ok I thought I had the hesitation prob licked when i switched the "pill" in the line going to the boost sensor. I ran it a couple of times to redline and back in 1,2,3 gears and nothing. Now later the same day I have intermitant hesitations anywhere from 2700rpm all the way up to right before redline. I really don't know what else can cause these things so I came to ask. Things that I have done are: swap boost sensor, add ground to boost sensor, change orientation of restrictor "pill", and running injector cleaner(probably not a solution but I did it anyhow). What else causes these kinds of hesitations? The only code I had gotten before was the boost sensor code but now nothing and still the hesitations.

hey Santiago, I just dumped a bunch of injector cleaner in mine too, clogged up the whole shebang .That's why I got those injectors from ya, one of which was bad, BTW (I can laugh now...). I had this same crap goin' on with mine, changed the boost sensor also...This is what to do- clean the low pressure inlet filter on the pump, change the fuel filter (it'll be clogged from the injector cleaner), and troubleshoot the car for three days till you find out you put a bad primary injector in there (you could probably skip this last step LOL)

Santiago, you can read the output of the boost sensor with it in the car, just remember the voltage is going to jump all over the place when you're playing with the throttle, but you can at least see if it's dead or not...my boost sensor code's coming on, too, when I'm doggin' it, then it goes away again??? BTW, I've ran mine without that "pill" restrictor in the line, couldn't really tell much of a difference...

I dunno if this is relevant or not but I was seeing if my Boost guage read vac alright and I put it on several of the different nipples around the car and I got 500mm hg on average. I don't remember what the normal vac for an N/a at idle is but I think thats low isn't it? All my vac lines seem to be ok but I might go and buy little clamps for them if this crap keeps up. Maybe the boost sensor's line has a small leak making its readings incorrect? The only time I get a code that I can tell is when I free rev the engine in neutral and I get the boost sensor code then it goes away during normal driving. I'll try and see if I can get another ground to the injectors tonight. I'm not sure if I have any connectors/electrical parts for that ATM.

Ok problem is solved. After thinking about my injectors I remembered I had a really old fuel filter so I went to autozone and picked one up and headed home. I removed my old one and brown fuel came out! But the one in the fuel line was a cool greenish blue like I always see. I primed the fuel system and checked for fuel leaks. None, yay! I took her out and she ran beautiful zero hesitation! But one interesting thing is that the boost sensor code still goes off if I rev it in neutral above 5krpms.

Yeah its the same size/shape. The only difference is that this one isn't a "mazda" part. Its also not painted black I think it has some wierd coating on it.

I know what I'm getting on the way home...I've been getting random hesistations that seem like a fuel delivery issue more than anything else...
