Window Switch

I tried going through some of the posts but i didnt find anything, before had i could roll down my passenger window with the switch on that side and from the drivers side i could roll the window up only. I can now only roll the window down, i have to jump the battery to the red and green terminals on the the passanger side to roll it up. I tried cleaning the switch but no go. i cant keep jumping my batter to the window anybody know what symptoms this might be from. i checked over the wiring diagrams and i am pulling power from the drivers side lockout switch.

is there any way to jump the terminals on the plug test out the system and make sure the window goes up?

I had the same problems, I cleaned the drivers side switch AND the passenger side, paying special attention to the rocker (window lock) switch. That cured it. You have to use some fine sandpaper on those little contacts, then some dielectric grease.

The passengers switch, gets its power from the drivers lock out switch. It also gets its ground from the drivers switch contacts.

So if the drivers switch is bad, the passenger's switch will only work one direction or not at all.

So it sounds like you need to fix both switches, or at the very least the drivers switch.
