Question Hesitation during acceleration / What to use for fuel injection cleaning?

Hi All,

Something that I have noticed (every since I bought it) is that my 89 Tii is having acceleration problems. It seems to be hesitating during fast acceleration. What I was thinking is that it could possibly be from the dirty injectors, does this sound right? I wanted to do this any ways but can/should I put some additive to clean the injectors or do I have to physically take them out to clean them?

Thanks,

Rick

You know I'm not sure. I just bought the car and I am trying to get it up to shape. Where is the fuel filter in the gas tank or under the hood?

And how easy is it to replace. I haven't done a fuel filter change in a while.
