ive been hitting hesitation around 3rd-4th gear and for both around ~4k rpm. im currently running a 87TII with a bnr stage 2 turbb, 550/720 injectors, on a rtek 1.7. My friend, whom is pretty knowledgeable when it comes to rotaries said its probably because im "leaning" out, hitting "detonation." He suggested that i purchase a safc neo to regulate my fuel and said that should fix the problem. I was wondering if there is any truth behind that before I go out a spend $200-300. I was under the impression that with the rtek 1.7 I was in good hands with my setup. What do you gu8ys think?

Sounds like the 'ol 3800 rpm hesitation to me.

 

sorry i meant to put ~4.5k+. it doesnt seem liek its the typical 3.8k hesitaton. any suggestions guys?

 

Any word on if you found out what happend im also having this problem.
