Exclamation Help!....wont Even Idle!

Car starts up....seems to be a bit hard on it..but does start everytime....but.....it would start...then die out like in around 2 seconds....i have to leave me foot on the pedal so it wouldnt die........

then wehn i change gears....i hear a "ping" from my muffler=.='

what could be wrong..kinda searched...

spark plugs are gone?..or wires?

fuel lines not delivering right?

faul pump?


any help woudl be niucee...thx....urgent=(...
its my geting to school car...ahh!

Buy a compression gauge and do a compression test.
