Question HELP! Wiring reverse glow gauge's power inverter

I bought those nifty 'reverse glow' gauges, they aren't nifty enough to come with specific instructions though. What wires do i tap and how should i go about doing that? I found the live wires and what seems to be a ground with my el cheapo voltage meter, those are on the vertical plug on the left side of the gauge cluster, the one that controls the interior and exterior lights. Is that where i should be looking? I actually had found a combo that worked but when i pushed the button supplied with the gauges to turn them off it turned on my FTP's and when i pushed it again everything went off. So, where does one get the power for the new gauges and is it possible to set them up to turn on with the interior lights rather than mount the cheap extra on/off switch too? Any expert advise would help greatly!

as many people will probably tell you as you get more replys. www.fc3s.org tells you how to install them but it never realy gives you a wire color or anything it does tell on your dimmer switch despite what user kenteth thinks to wire it to the third wire going from right to left on the bottom rung of the dimmer switch. however i did that in my 88 using the red and black wire wich is the lead for your interior lights and my gauges worked for about two months and now dont work anymore. its not hard its just knowbody likes to help around here or so it seems they instead realy on sarcasm and insults.
