the other month i left my mom take my car out becuse i needed here car and while she was driving it the oil cooler lines blew, she had drivin the caar home almost 20 miles. after replaceing the lines i need to know if there is anything i should look out for..
right now the car has no power and smokes when u first start it and when u hit the boost hard
but the boost smoke is probly from the turbo seals being burnt out from no oil

my car is a 88 t2 with origilal motor and 121,000 miles.

 

I hate to break the news to you, but your engine is MOST LIKELY toast. We just had a 13b-t core come in, and upon disasembly, the e-shaft bearings and rotor bearings were grinded half way thru. The reason you most likely dont have power is because of that fact. The person who sent us this core drove 6 km without oil.

How low was the oil when you checked it after your mom got it home again? If you were less than 2-3 quarts low, there still may be a ray of hope...Did the oil level buzzer go off?

 

I would help you, but your "paragraph" confused me too much.

 

well my mom said that the car stated to feel slugish and the cheak oil light came on. She did not say wether the buzzer went off or not, but when i checked the oil it was not even on the dip stick.

 

"Started to feel sluggish" doesn't sound good, man...

Hit up your mom for a new rebuild, lol...

 

She blew it, she bought it.

 

yah that is not a good i dea to make her pay for it i make more in a week thatn she dose in a month. and it was not something that could have been avoided
