MA Help with vert part have you seen this

looking for this part need help I have tried WTB !!!! this is for a 1990 convertible ,this goes along thr bottom edge of top it is METAL but you cant see it is is under the top let me know PM me or post thank you all

You are making me not want to replace my top. I imagine it helps fasten the vert top to the body, but I am unsure. I also imagine you could easily fabricate something to replace it with a piece of aluminum from home depot and a drill/cutters.

That strip of metal fits into a pocket on the bottom of the soft top. It stiffens the back edge where it is attached to the body of the car.

Yours is shot. You need to find one from a part out. When you find one, paint it before you put it back together!

Mine was rusted just like then when i replaced my top. Cant remember how much the $dealership$ charged me. Unless you get one from the southwest, my guess is that they are all rusted like that. Good luck
