Help: Unknown vaccum line.
Yes i bought my 1988 Gxl acouple of months ago and it already had a intake installed on the car. There is a vaccum tube that runs from the driver side to the passanger and then ends probably where the airbox used to be. Does anyone know what that is for and what i should do with it? I noticed when i stick my finger in it the rpms drop some. Thank for all your help in advance.

yup, plugs into main intake tube that goes from the MAF to the throttle body. The line/plug that it goes in is under the tube not far from the top.
Wait, thats not the stock intake tube? Ok now you have two choises if there is no plug under the tube... Plug/cap the line to the BAC (your BAC won't work now) well technically it hasn't worked at all since it hasn't been pluged in. OR you'll have to make a plug for that to go into. There's a couple ways to do this. 1. Drill a hole and put a hose fitting in it for the hose to plug into, Or better yet, 2. get the stock intake tube. Those aftermarket intake tube don't help your engine at all anyway. The stock tube is straight enough and can't be improved upon, unless you supply it with around turbo to plug into and run about 7 psi on a NA engine and...........
