well i put some water in a old engine in the hole and it came out 2 12mm holes need the exhaust ports then i plugged the holes and filled it up to the top and there was no leaks so it goes from the middle/top of the iron to the exhaust im thinkn about leaving it in there

get a strong magnet and run it along the outside of the engine and maybe it will catch it and bring it allong its path. iyou know how if you put a piece of metal on top of a table and then put a magnet under it and you can move the metal around?f it fell inside the oil or something you could just drain the oil out but thats not the case here...

Get something like that, I've used one in this exact situation before.

So you dropped an object into the intake runners? Remove the manifolds and see if you can get it out. Don't turn over the engine. If you find that it's inside the engine, you'd have to either take it apart or try your luck with a long magnet tool.

Please stop bumping your topic. As it says in the forum rules (you have read them, right?) bumps are not allowed in technical forums. It also helps if you give your topic a real subject line instead of "omg help plz!". I've changed this for you.
Those EGR passages lead to the bottom "doglegs" of the rotor housings, which then lead to the exhaust ports. I think you're going to have a very hard time getting this stud out. What you might want to try is to use a good source of compressed air to blow into the exhaust passage while someone rocks the engine back and forth. Hopefully the stud will come shooting out of the top of the engine.
Now if that doesn't work, then you may just have to leave it in there. As I recall those are M8 studs so they are probably large enough that they won't migrate around the engine at all.
