Question Help steering promblem 87 TII and etc.

I need help!!!

I have a FC T2 that i recently rebuilt with street port, (still breakin in...500 miles to go!!!) Since the day I bought my fc its has been having steering problems. One day the car will steer fine than another day there seems to be no power steering at all. Recently when this occurs I just turn off my car, then turn it right back on and then the steering will usually be back to normal. Some people i asked said it could be powersteering pump, others say it could be rack and pinion, others say it could be the power steering computer. PLease help!!!!!!

Also is my 87 T2 fuel injectors top feed or side feed? I want to change secondaries to a bigger size than stock.

with my street port , full downpipe 3 1/2 to exhuast w/ presilencer, fuel cut defenser, 255 wabro fuel pump, 550cc primaries and 720 secondaries ....what power should I be looking at?

thanks
John

I just ripped my power steering off and plugged the lines less weight, and less drag on the eccentric.

1. sounds like a power steering computer taking a *****, if that is the case I think Icemark repairs those.

2. All FC's are top feed.

3. Don't know I have a similar setup setup on my turbo swap, minus the streetport. I would guess at about 10 psi you could be looking at 250 rwhp, maybe even more.

probably low 200's, until you get more air into your engine.....get a good cai....and some sort of fuel controller for the 720's.

It's definately an issue with the CPU... My car used to do the same exact thing, so with Icemark's advise I replaced the power steering computer, and it went away... Now I'm installing my manual rack, so if you want, I'll sell you my CPU pretty cheap... Shoot me a PM if you want it...
