hks ssqv is the popular one.

if you're tight on the budget, get the Turbo XS RFL/Type H

Greddy type-s. It can hold more than 25 psi, proven piece of equipment, cheap, and sounds freakin awesome!

Bur seriously, the greddy is a very simple install, and a nice product.

Well the simple performance side is what turbo and psi are you using / pushing?

Going out on a limb I will say within near stock. In this case what ever one you want :-P

I personally despise the Greedy S and I run the Greedy RS and at this moment I am totally disappointed in greddys quality of there product. Now I have to retap and heli coil my internals to be able to adjust the spring tension :-/

The SSQV is good but annoying sound if you vent the GS is annoying as well :-/ It’s all up to you.

The Type S is the single most annoying valve I have ever ran, but its performance is unquestionable in my opinion...

Because the threading on the adjustment bolt has a tendency to strip.

I'm on my second one right now... lol.

Get a Type-S, but be gentle when you're adjusting the spring tension.

Ive had the greddy type s & hks ssq bov before.

I just recently got the greddy type rs & it's the ****.Im glad I bought it.

BOV sound freakn gay. They take away from the rest of the car and get annoying quick. Like many have said before, they need to make a quite BOV, a complete sleeper
And oh ya, pretty much all of those BOVs that were just mentioned are the only ones I would go with.

There's no need to get a BOV unless you are running significantly higher then stock boost levels, or your existing bypass valve is broken...

If you like the noise, then there's no specific harm in getting a valve, but be aware that you will either need to buy or fabricate a turbo outlet pipe on which to mount your BOV.

I personally prefer the Apex'I BOV, because it's quiet.

Thats why they make kits.

I have run the GReddy type S and the Apex'i twin chamber BOV. They both worked great. The GReddy did get on my nerves though. I'm just about to install a Tial 50mm BOV now. Or you could pick up a stock FD BOV and use that. They're cheap, very reliable, and sound almost identical to the Apex'i twin chamber. Just my .02 Best of luck to you.

And if you want to buy an Apex'i, I'll sell you the one off of my TII for a great price. PM me if you're interested.

How much pounds of boost can a stock FD BOV take? I plan on running rtek1.7 with 4 720's and a BNR stage two. I know the max would be 15psi, would the FD be fine in this set up?

I have the blitz one and love the sound. It's just a loud whooshh sound with no annoying whistle. I've heard the HKS SSQV and it has an ear shaterring whistle and same thing with the greedy type s.

A stock FD BOV will hold the boost that you want to run. It's actually a pretty good BOV and is very reliable. And when it's vented to atmosphere it's loud too and has the same sound as the Apex'i, Blitz, Tial, and Turbo XS valves. Just a loud rush of air. Not that annoying laser sound of the GReddy type s or the HKS.
