help-sludy cheese looking oil

I have a turbo 2 about 120k miles. had the car for about 500 miles I am guessing. took it to get its oil changed. the fill tube had this orange sludgey oil around the inside of it. watched the oil drain and it was a little dirty but no sludge came out. what could be the cause of the nacho cheese oil? car runs fine as far as I know. thanks

This might be obvious but when the was the last time the oil was changed before you changed it?

I don't know. The owner said she had just had some work done on it and I assume the oil was changed then since they were trying to fix the hot start problem.

this happened to mine. I think the owner before me was pretty good about changing oil so I am not positive what causes it. I cleaned all that gunk out when i rebuilt my engine and haven't had any problems.

if it was really orange, you may have a coolant leak.

Coolant mixed with oil tends to look like melted runny cheese.
