Help: should I buy this car???

Hey everyone, I just came across this rx-7 damn thing runs great BUT: the entire gauge cluster doesn't work. the radio doesn't works and the brake lights and headlights don't work. Also whole time I drove it there was this buzzing sound coming from the dash (behind the glove box I think) the buzzing everytime I held the brake down or and was intermitten when I turned on the turn signal. What could it be?? is it going to be an easy fix. It's got 83,000 miles now
here is the link:

What do you guys think.
How many miles do these motors last?
I really don't know too much about rotary's but hope to soon find out !!!

It looks fairly clean...but the electrical gremlins that you're facing could be a total pain in your *** down the road. An n/a rotary can see upwards of 200k...

woo, you're probably gonna need a lot more help than this but aaroncake.net would be a good place to start, specifically here:

it could have a lot of common electrical problems but I'd be worried about the buzzer, did you see any lights come on along with it?

good info thank you. I think it sounds like a CPU problem. I think I remember the door light on or seat belt light or both. How much would a car with the already mentioned issues normally go for. I don't want to pay more then I have too. I really don't have a problem low balling the guy either since it's a car lot.

3K is WAAAY too much for a car that isn't even legal to drive on the street (you have to have working brake lights).

It's gonna be a pain in the *** to fix all those wiring problems.

I'd say 2000...
