basically it looks good, runs good. all you have to do to make sure is check compression. if that's good.. which it should be, then by all means buy that thing!
compression testers can be expensive, quick and easy way to check is to pull the plugs, disable the ignition system, crank it over and listen to the pulses while cranking. they should be strong and even. obviously this isn't as bulletproof as a real compression test, but if you know your way around rotaries you will know what it should sound like. if you're new to them, take someone along who's done it before

Ask how much for the mustang in the background lol, thats a pretty good price, think about what cars from 20 years ago are normaly selling for, Rx-7's hold there value decently.

no, compression testers are not expensive. I think mine was like 17 dollars or something from advance. pop out the egi fuse, Pull one of the plugs on the rear housing, insert the tester. Have a buddy crank the car over with the padal floored. you are looking for 3 even 100psi or so pulses. Do the same on the front housing after putting the plug back in the rear. Put egi fuse back in and front housing plug. Hopefully you are good. I would not buy the car without doing this.

wow jump on that car. who cares if u have to go get a lone for that thing. that is one hell of a clean car and 4 grand (ask 3.5) would be stealing that thing. that is cheap for the shape its in. i have seen guys ask alot more for cars that where alot worse!
