Today i boosted to 7 psi, following that the car was running real poor. All broken up and lagging in power. At a corner it stalled.
I've removed the spark plugs and both rotors sound real good. I left it there for 2 1/2 hours and when i came back, it started up real good. Had to give it a little gas. But she's still broken up. Sounds like it's ignition break up. What's the best method to test for spark? I think my trailing coil is going out. The engine revs past 7k (this was done at idle) but the tach bounces of 7K like crazy. The engine has 5k with all the bells and whistles, and the ECU is an E6K.
Could it be the CAS? how do i test that?
couils? How do i test those?
ARE ALL FC COILS THE SAME?

 

to check the CAS you use a DMM .. set it to ohms. the Ne and G signal need to be between 100 - 200 ohms.

best way to check spark is to ground it out like say on the strut tower nutz and then watch to see if they spark.

They say you can run the car fine without the trailings firing. I'd do a real compression check and go from their..

 

are the N/A and TII coils the same?

 

yes ALL FC coils are the same. This board is worthless by the way.
