Help removing windshield wipers

I thought I loosened EVERYTHING... is there a special trick, or do I just need to yank at them even harder? I'm afraid to on the rear wiper because it's on glass.. Oh, and looked at FSM, and it looks like there are only nuts on the outside... well... let me know if there's something else to it. Thanks!

Easier to pry than to yank, but you get the idea- just remember they're spring loaded & will want to "straighten out" as soon as it pops off the shaft...Mark the sucker before you pop it off, BTW...

The wiper arm is SPLINED to the shaft.
You need to finesse it out of the shaft.
A little bit of penetrant (i.e. WD-40, Liquid Wrench, Kroil, P'Blaster, etc.) can help here.
