HELP! Problems with a s4 engine swap in a s5 shell
Hi,
Well me and my buddy are having problems getting our car to run.
It's a S4 t2 engine from a 87 we grabbed all the engine wiring and stuff, if need be i still have the s4.
then i picked up a S5 shell with no engine and all other engine stuff (so harness and all) just a bear engine bay.
Problems
so whats happening is the car only primes the fuel pump when key is turned to "start", but when key moves back to "on" the fuel pump turns off
the head lights stay on when key isn't even in on or accessory or even in the car.
For some reason the main really is getting by pass some how and not even being activated
I was just going for a stock swap s4 t2 in a s5 shell, hell I've even go the air box in...everything as far as i can tell is there, i have some connectors that don't go any where and can't figure out why..im guessing it the differences of the s5 and s4 wiring..but i did remove all the emissions stuff and some of those wires where for that.
Does any on have pdf files of s4 and s5 wiring diagrams? those might help me diagnose the problem
also if any one has complete the same swap and thinks there is something i might have forgotten send me a pm

thx but, i already found that website, didn't help that much..i've been reading my haynes for a will and trying to compare the s4 and s5 wiring.. there isn't much change.. but there has to be something im not seeing.
