Arrow Got a 87 TII for $1800 guy just put 12k$ into it. My project thread. Comment/Suggest

I bought a 87 TII mint inside but original paint so its faded, the motor was rebuilt with some 3rd gen parts (don't feel like listing them) this kid sold me the car for $1800 with 120k on it. the clutch went out and i finally got in on the rack to check out everything he had done to it. He told me I had a S5 turbo. turns out its a T3. greedy profec B spec-S Boost controller, Greedy profec type s

he had this done 6 months before i bought it from him

rebuild by some shop area code 770 (2639.09$)

3rd gen corner seals on rebuild (2mm 2 piece apex seals, double apex seal springs, 3rd gen corner seal springs
polished ports
lapped plates
blocked off omp
mazda speed competition motor mounts
RB engine torque brace
rebuilt with atkins jspec kit
shimmed thermopellet mod

RB 3' downpipe
cleaned bored stock injectors 620cc each

Koyo Radiator

so far thats what I know about the car, its got lots more in it. but i added all his receipts and it ended up being $12,435.00

and i paid $1800 because he had to move.

Any comments, upgrade suggestions, or just talk.. feel free.

I am seeing the boost controller not really doing its job well. I just max psi 20 yet if i got the high settings i cant reach over 15 psi.

This is my project now to get it perfect mechanical wise then I'm going to paint it black with no shine like the hot rod piston dorks do, but I think it would look badass on a TII

any comments, and upgrade suggestions welcomed

any part you wanna know about on it i can find in all this paper work i have for it.

You dont want 2 run more than 15 psi.You just got the car and you dont know who tuned the car, what afr are you running, what kind of EMS(if any)what size turbo(specs on the turbo)ect....
If you can post pics of the engine bay so that way we can try 2 ID the turbo for you, find out about if you have a EMS or not and what other supporting mods the car has 2 be running 15psi.

Suggestion: When asking for suggestions, state the purpose of your car. The typical purposes that will affect the modification path are street driving, drag racing, autocross or road racing (aka "time attack" if you are a teenager), drifting and show. It is also good to state your resources, which would include your budget and ability to self-provide professional labor and equipment.

So if you post pictures, you will give me $20 for every item that I can point out as not being in mint condition?

No it cant be a T25.Please post some pics.Honestly how do you go ahead a buy something with out knowing or having a clue of what are you getting?(read the slips that you were given)If this car has 12k on it invested it should have a decent size turbo(not a stinky T25)a EMS(with the car being from florida i bet you that it has a MICROTECH)Please post some pictures or better details.

post some pics of the turbo and manifold.

oh and 3rd gen corner seal springs are really common, there's nothing expensive or special about it. "double apex seal springs" aren't special either. 2mm have double apex seal springs, 3mm seals have single
