Just put a tarp or something over the window for a temporary solution while you try and fix it.

When my driver side switch failed I used a 12v booster to hotwire it back up. Just pull the switch out of the armrest and apply voltage to the window motor terminals. If it rolls down, reverse the polarity.

I don't think the passenger side will work, as it uses a different connection scheme and is powered by the drivers side switch.

I'm pretty sure the plugs are different on the two, but you could hard wire it.

you should be able to take a wire, attach it to the POWER wire, and then touch the other wire that rolls the window up. i have tested wire this way on the lightswitch. just hook the power straight to the window. make your own straight loop if its possible. hell, i did it with a paperclip.

you dont need to connect to the battery! as long as the connector (switch) itself is getting power, you can connect a wire to it and then touch the other wires (metal on the clip) until one rolls up the window.

But are you sure the switch is bad, or maybe does it just have a bad connection. Because mine right now won't work unless I put pressure on the top of the switch, I'm just too lazy to pull it out and check the connection on mine.

mine's the EXACT same way. BUT i noticed something. the driver side, pushing down, has a weird feel to it. it requires pressure. but UP, and both UP and DOWN on my passenger all *click.* i took mine apart, cleaned the insides (driver side) and it still doesn't click. i'm not exactly sure what causes this, but i'd like to know.

I'm pretty sure mine is just a bad connection, because I can also put pressure on the arm rest, like pressing towards the door on the side of the arm rest, and mine works. i just started having this problem about a month or so ago.
I think mine vibrated loose from the bass in my car.

i thought about doing that (though i've driven my sis' Saturn and i dont know how long it would take me to get used to center console window switches).
lets see some pics. dont be shy, i know it probably looks ghetto and you probably have stains we don't wanna see, but i want to see your window switch setup.

well i was able to get my window up, when i took off the switch cover I saw the little rectangle white blocks that were the real switches and just slide it forward, i had now clue this was all I need to do. To bad i cant get some new buttons, its just the plasctic on top and mabey the spring that went bad. i had a MX6 and driver side went out too, mazda made some shitty switches i tell you, then the cost a arm and leg from the dealer, lol.
