Help Please!---removing An Auto Trans.

I am on car #2 in last 2 years and I cant remember the easiest way to remove an auto tranny!

I need some advice removing a auto trans. from my 90 rx7.

The question is do I have to unbolt the torque converter from the flywheel, or just slide the trans. out WITHOUT UNBOLTING THE T/C.--thanks in advance---Kevin

You have to unbolt the the torque converter from the flywheel. You can see each bolt through the inspection cover as you turn the engine over slowly.

Thanks for the reply, but I already figured it out and had it pulled! No---I didnt have to unbolt the T/C----I just had to loosen the motor mounts and jack the tranny around some and I got it to come out!---I just couldnt remember, ---thanks again!
