Help Please Guys

Hi guys n gals. Went to collect my RX7 FC3S from Newcastle docks today, however it wouldnt start. Car was trying to but didnt seem to have enough power to kick over. So went and bought a new battery and also hooked upto a booster pack, made it a bit better but still would not start, do you guys have any ideas?

the engine spec is as follows and may help:

500PS (On Jap 100octane Fuel)
Side Ported Overhauled Engine (One use at a track since build, no street use)
Reset ECU
Aftermarket Fuel Pump
Collector Tank
Manual GReddy Boost Control in Dash
Aftermarket Injectors (550cc / 780cc)
2 X Additional Injectors in Plenum
Uprated Fuel Lines and Connectors
Greddy Plenum
SARD Fuel Pressure Regulator
Silcone Piping
Aftermarket Downpipe
Aftermarket Exhaust System
HKS Additional Injector Controller
HKS Twin Power Ignition Sparking System
Apexi Induction Kit
Aftermarket Engine Auxiliary Pulleys
Oil Catch Tank
HKS T04S Turbo (polished)
Aftermarket Manifold
Intercooler and Hardpipe Kit
Billion Rad Hoses
Larger Alloy Radiator
Water Spray System

The guy i got it from in Japan said it is hard to start, so he replaced its racing plugs with standard ones as it is meant to be easier to start, but it seems impossible to get it going

So any info you guys could give that may shed some light, or indeed anybody that knows a bit about these cars that stays in Newcastle that could have a look at it, please let me know as i spent 3 hours trying to get it started today with no luck, and had a nice 4 hour drive back home without my new car.

Thanks Ricky

It's probably flooded from a combination of short starts and a nearly dead battery.

Search "unflooding" for instructions. Make sure you have a nice, strong battery when you try and unflood the car.

just run jumper cables from another car, that way you have all day to crank as long as you have gas

The new battery was put in the car about 20 minutes before i gave up with it so battery was good, also tried jumping from a van, but nothing, still not enough power to turn it over.

Take the plugs out and Blow them off with an Air hose.Take the EGI fuse out,Crank the Car over for 20 seconds.Throw the plugs back In and Put the EGI fuse back in.Start the car,DO NOT touch the gas pedal...If that doesn't work Try it again(repeat previous method),Only Put in a Milkshake straw Full of Motor OIL in the plug holes.Roll the engine over(plugs out),for 2-3 seconds..Put the Plugs and Fuse back in and try it again.if it WAS flooded it should Actually START..If it "maybe" something else,It won't.This procedure Has a Good track record.

it's in the Engine Bay(under the Hood?bonnet?)..it is on the fuse block that you should see there on The PASSENGER side, just in by the leading Coil and the engine...(JDM Car right?)
