HELP PLease

Ok here's the problem. I went to my buddy's house and my car shifted fine, then I shut it off and when I went to leave I could barely get my car into 1st or 2nd gear. It doesn't even like the neutral position between 1st and 2nd gear. All the other gears are easy to access just like normal. I'm really hoping and keeping my fingers crossed that its just the bushings that need replacing. Does anyone have any other ideas or should I just start with the bushings?

Thanks for the help,

Ian Welin

How do I check my clutch slave for operation? I checked the clutch fluid and its just barely over the MIN line.

Thanks,

Follow the line from the clutch master down to the clutch slave. Watch the slave while someone actuates your clutch pedal. You should see the piston come out of the slave cylinder probably a good inch.

If not, suspect bad slave or master.

I had someone press the clutch and the piston moved out about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch but it wasnt straight out it was kinda wobbly out like it would start to go one way then turn to face another (if that makes any sense).
