HELP with OS Giken T2SB and Throwout Bearing

Hey guys

Recently come across this clutch:

I have an FD but with an FC transmission.

My question is can I use the stock throw out bearing (bearing and sleeve) with this clutch or do I have to purchase an OS Giken throwout bearing.

OS Giken support are saying I need theirs but I seeing hearing some guys on here are using their stock throwout bearing.

Just want to confirm this once again. Cheers...

Use the os giken piece. The os giken bearing is a little bigger and it doesnt wear the plate forks like the factory bearing does, now there is 2 different sizes throwout bearings cause there is 2 different size input shaft sleeves on the turbo trans so you have to get the one thst matches your setup.

There is a throwout bearing that comes with it, but this clutch came off an FD.

That will not work.
the FC trans uses a PUSH type clutch and the FD uses a PULL type clutch.
2 different setups and 2 different Throw out bearings.

You need a Push type clutch and throw out bearing with the FC trans.(Yes even if it is on an FD engine)

Throw out bearings are rather cheap.(I got one at Mazda for about 70 CDN..but I did get one before,Federal Mogul bearing for $45 CDN).

Yes that is a conversion kit and it wont work without the fc bellhousing.Get the bearing kit from OS Giken,You can also get the adjustable clutch fork piece from OS.Is a upgraded fork setup that let you adjust it and is way thicker than the oem piece and it wont brake or bend if you have decent hp.I have run a triple and dual OS setups on my fc for ten years and they have never fail me.

Thanks for all your replies. Greatly appreciate the help.

The car is actually in the Philippines. So I don't have any pictures at the moment. All I do know is that I'm running an FC trans with a ORC 409 single plate clutch.

Given that this clutch is push type clutch. Can I simply install it and use the stock throwout bearing that's already in my FC trans ?

Sorry if I sound a bit like newb.

Anyways here are pictures of the clutch: Name: IMG_6281_zps01410ef4.jpg

yes you can but the bearing on your trans might put some more wear on the plate that the OS Giken unit.
