ok, so this morning i start my car up and watch the oil pressure guage barely move which scared my right away. i check the oil level and its a little low but just barely. i topped it off anyways and start it back up to find it to seem to be working normally again that is as long as the revs stay up. As soon as I let it idle though it drops right down and then comes back up as it pleases. won't stay consistant. also it seems to take longer to come up now when i rev it up.

i have a couple of ideas as to what it might be but don't know where to start. do you guys think it could just simply be the sending unit or pressure sensor??

Yep, clean the contacts first, and then we'll go from there...
