Trailling coils are cheap from a junkyard.
I am not aware of any possible way to get the tach working with a bad trailing coil.
At least, I am not aware of any method that is cheaper than just buying a new trailling coil.

Who told you about A-1? pd_day?
I told him about the 7s there and then I went back a few weeks ago and they were totally raped!
Are you going to the markham meet or signal drift event? I can pick you up a coil. A-1 is closer to me.
Unless there is a chain of A-1s..
