Help needed for a newbie
Ok, here's the deal: I found an `88 Turbo II for sale for $200. The catch is that it won't run and I'm not sure what's wrong with it. The story from the guy selling it (knows nothing at all about rotary engines) is that last winter he forgot to put antifreeze in it and one morning it wouldn't start. He said it'll turn over but won't start and it leaks water from the top of the engine. He's convinced that the head is cracked so he's selling it super cheap!
I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy it, but I'm not really an expert on these cars and I'd like to get an idea of what I'm in for. Thanks in advance.

expect to need a new engine. if you can do the work yourself, start doing all the research you can and learn as much about these cars as possible. chances are it will be a basketcase

You could also have Kevin Landers from Rotary Ressurection (hah) rebuild the engine for a fair price, and damn, can't beat a rebuilt turbo2 for under $2,000k
