well ive been working on the car all day. This is my problem. Its running really lean, and when i rev it up it wont rev past 3500 rpm, which happens to be where boost comes in. when it hits 3500 it just bounces on it liike a rev limiter or something. Please someone help me.

Obviously your secondary injectors aren't coming online. That's about all I can add

I've heard about the electrical connector to the secondaries coming off.. might want to check that.

Sorry, no digital camera. However, I just did the silicon vacuum hose replacement on my 87 TII. There are 4 nipples on the side of the throttle body in the back. Top to bottom, the first one goes to a nipple on the intake manifold halfway up near the cold start injector. The second one goes to a nipple right in the middle of the secondary oil injectors on the intake manifold. The third one, a larger one, goes to a 1X4 manifold that feeds the top of the oil injectors. These 3 are not vacuum. The fourth one goes to the water thermo valve, a plastic pipelike gizmo with 2 vacuum lines going to it. The other line goes to a diaphragm on the throttle linkage on the other side. It is vacuum. All the other lines hook onto the pipes in the same order (from the passenger side in the back to the lines under the throttle body). Hope this helps. Oh yeah, I agree, it appears you do not have your secondary injectors working at all.

yeah the secondaries were the first thing that came to my mind also, so thats the first thing I checked. I think that the guy I was having work on my car has hooked up about 3 of my vacuum lines wrong. When I put it back together myself i hooked up everything the same way he had it. Thanks Irv, The info is really helpful. About the cold start injectors, should I have any vacuum lines coming into it at all? Can I remove it totally from the intake without a blockoff plate, its not connected anyway.
thanks

Make sure the electrical plug and the vacuum line to the boost sensor on the r/h strut tower are connected. Make sure the vacuum line is connected to the vacuum nipple coming from the acv. If your boost gauge is showing boost you can almost forget about the above items. You could put a digital meter on the small ECU connector and monitor the voltage on the secondary injectors. Small plug at the ecu, bottom row, looking into the ecu connector it would be the second and third wires on the bottom row, counting from the left. Should show about 12v tooling around and when the secondaries come on line(stomp the throttle) drop to somewhere around seven, maybe less. Depends on the load on the engine which is determined in part by the boost sensor near the r/h strut tower. Download the factory servive manual at http://www.iluvmyrx7.com and proint section 4B. Look at Contorl Unit and a depiction of the plugs.Yep, the plugs coulda falled off. You might go to the ecu plug and see if there is 12v there at the aforementioned wires. If there is, with the key on, then the plugs are hooked up.
