Can you tell if anything is getting wet?

Does the engine crank but it just won't start?

Check the leading and trailing coils and make sure they are tightened well.

If the battery keeps dying you probably need a new alternator. Do you have a voltmeter?

id say the battery is the culprit, sometimes if condensation gets in a battery it will neutralize the acid temperarily (uhh, sorry bout the spelling) ive seen it happen a few times before, but in both cases the battery case was cracked

well today i tightened the altenator belt a bit to see if it was slipping when it was wet, on closer expection one of the battery cables had a nice hole in the insulation so i taped that up and now the only way to see if it works is wait for the rain
after i tightened the altenator belt i was getting higher readings on the battery guage
