Can you tell if anything is getting wet?
Does the engine crank but it just won't start? Check the leading and trailing coils and make sure they are tightened well. |
If the battery keeps dying you probably need a new alternator. Do you have a voltmeter?
|
or you need a new battery

id say the battery is the culprit, sometimes if condensation gets in a battery it will neutralize the acid temperarily (uhh, sorry bout the spelling) ive seen it happen a few times before, but in both cases the battery case was cracked
|
well today i tightened the altenator belt a bit to see if it was slipping when it was wet, on closer expection one of the battery cables had a nice hole in the insulation so i taped that up and now the only way to see if it works is wait for the rain
after i tightened the altenator belt i was getting higher readings on the battery guage steve |
