Help!! My ABS module is leaking??
Before putting new rotors and pads on my 89 turbo II, my pedal feels fine until after installing them, my pedal feels really soft (like there's air in it still) so I bleed my brakes again and noticed there was a lot of air, so I kept bleeding it but air is still somehow getting into the system. I looked at my ABS module and saw a tiny leak, so I'm thinking air is drawn in from the module when I break if there's a leak.
So, I called some places and realized that no one rebuilds these modules OR sells rebuild kit. New module cost more than $3000 and there's NO WAY I can afford that since I just rebuild my engine and bought some other parts.... Does anyone have any idea or solution as far as fixing the leak without buying a new one or maybe the problem itself is caused by other issues??? Please help! I brake with my e-brake when I drive that's how bad it is.... Thanks!!!

If I were you I would swap in a new or rebuilt master cylinder. old masters are known to go bad and when you replaced your brakes you may have damaged the seal in the master cylinder inadvertantly when you pused it into the corrosion in the end of the bore of the old mastercylinder. The piston pushes fluid but when it reurns it leaks a small amount of air in keeping you to see air when continuously bleeding. You could try bench bleeding the master to know for sure. If this doesnt work you may have to delete the abs unit. Unfortunately non abs cars use a different master

Sorry guys, I forgot to mention that I've already replaced the master cylinder before changing the rotors and pads... and the kit Mazdatrix sells is for bypassing the ABS pump if it's leaking, not for the ABS module itself, unless they have the product and I didn't see it on the site... any other suggestion? Thanks for everyone's help!!!!

worst case senario, Get a non ABS master and run new lines. Ive heard the abs system on these isn't that great anyway. Im trying to keep the ABS on my turbo 2 for posterity only other wise it would be gone. Extra weight , extra complication, not needed
