Unhappy HELP!! my 90 turbo is SHootin SPARKS out its Tail

So im driving and the car starts chuggin and i down shift its fine for a bit then starts chuggin and pow pow pow sparks start commin outta both exhaust pipes,

just wondering if anyone knows what this may be,
it happens after like 10-15 min of driving , its the second time its happened really bad and the car wont speed up,


if anyone can give me some advice that would be awesome!!

mine does that during decel. but it shoots flames. idont know if thats good or bad. but it is kinda cool considerin i got to rebuild it anyways.

just drive the snot out of it. randome things will start shooting out like metal braids, and pieces of ceramic honey comb. i took pics incase anyone wants to see.

turned out to be a bad AFM, it f***ked up while driving, caused a lean situation, thus high exhaust temps, thus burning my cat, thus spitting huge molten chunks of SHEEAT out my tailpipe.

sparks and vacuum leak...

I dont have a cat on my car
my engine also doesnt idle, and revs on its own knocks at 0 rpm and then clunks out when in neutral

just replaced my engine, finished it this summer, garanteed less than 30,ooo km on it
the compression on each rotor is over 10

I hope you mean over 100.

Replacing it with a JDM (I'm assuming it's an imported motor) doesn't mean it's not broken now.

Do the sparks keep happening, or was it a one time thing? If it was one time then im guessing apex seal. If its happening again and again then I dont know.

maybe its in safe mode, running really rich. are you getting a check engine light?
