So im just out with a lesson(im 14 and no plates ,insurance,ect.) with dad in the passegers seat! and then i was going to 3rd and it felt like it was being blocked by someething and i tryed pushing in and still it wouldnt go.? so then i rode in nuetral and came to a complete stop at a stop and then 1st, came back and tryed it again and it WORKED. then i tried again and it came back it just woudnt go and i tried 2nd and 1st they wouldnt work either? WTF so i tried again and it worked? so then dad said lets go home

So were in the driveway and we just ran throguh the gears and they went fine?

I have no clue what happpened?

oh oh sleep (its 9:32 here in VA and i have SS(summer school at 7))

Take a look at your clutch fluid, your clutch master cylinder and its hoses.

 

Worn Gear syncro. Common on these cars. I have the same problem.

 

Pilot bearing dying.

Can you shift the transmission with the engine off?
Do you have a hard time shifting into gear with the engine running with the cluthc pedal in?
This is a sure sign the pilot bearing is falling apart.
