ok well i bought this auto GXL and i just converted it. It runs and all but when i try to hit the redline power cuts out at 4000 rpm's the motor stays on but it kinda just stays there and go's up very slow

i got new sparkplugs and got new sparkblug wires and it still sounds like it misfires at 4000rpms i mean it has plenty of power from 1000-3900 but right after that it starts misfireing can anyone help?

check tps.. vaccum leaks cause weird problems too

 

wats tps? and yea i check for vaccum leaks and its all good
it idles normal but it just starts acting weird at 4k

 

wait would the timing be different from automatics and manual?
