Help me troubleshoot something!

and thanks in advance..

So this morning i woke up and decided to clean the engine bay, I used some greased lightning and a low power rise, I let it sit for about 2 1/2 hours and then i start driving it, well first thing that was wierd was it was cranking real slow as i was driving the tacho was bouncing and the temp gauge shot up to H, but it was driving like normal. so i stop at my dads for about 3 or 4 hours and start it up, when im driving home it just feels like it fuel cuts, then all the hazard lights come on and it dies, but im still rolling so it starts back up drives for a little bit ( 2 minutes ) and then does the same thing, i pull over and it dies. so i try to start it back up and it doesnt crank at all. any help would be appreciated.

Greased Lightning is very corrosive to certain metals and it may have gotten into your wiring and/or alternator internals causing the problem, especially if you left it on the engine components for more than a few minutes before washing it off. Check all your electrical connections, particularly the battery-alternator wire connection points. Take them apart and clean/dry and reinstall them. [Remove negative cable from battery before starting.] Also check the connection points for the main ground wires.

I use purple power.
Like grease lightening it's corrosive if left on too long.
My 15 minute engine clean:
1) spray on the degreaser
2) rinse it off (use a pressure washer if you can)
3) dry it off (air hose or leaf blower works)
4) Spray it with silicone protectant (good for the plastic & hoses, and it displaces hidden water in the electricals, especially the alternator)
5) blast it with an air hose or leaf blower (shines up the protectant & displaces any remaining water)

As Ben Franklin would have said: "An ounce of shine is worth a pound of performance."

Update : Went to pick up the car about 24 hours later and it cranked slow and it started, i let it idle for a bit its kind of steady and tacho is still bouncing around, and then it dies, i try to drive before the car gets towed and i turn on the lights and engine acts up and loud pops come from the exhaust, i turn off the lights and it goes back to idling normal, i drive it for about 20 minutes with the lights off to try to get it home and then it dies... Help!!!
