Question Help me troubleshoot my clutch

First, my clutch was leaking, I found the source, it was coming from my Clutch Mastercylinder on my 87 RX7N/A. So, I went to autozone and picked up a Clutch master cylinder rebuild kit and a new hardline(I striped it a while back putting on my SS clutchline). I bent up the hardline and changed out the things inside my Master Cylinder and reinstalled everything. Here is were the problems start to occur. I try to bleed my lines with the bleeder valve cracked until the peddle stops sticking to the ground last, I close the valve, as I give my peddle some presses afterwards it will stick to the ground.

*NOTE* I had a friend to help with bleeding my clutch

So I thought I put the old spring in with the other new parts, I take off the master cylinder and change the springs and put it back on, I then bleed the clutch again and give it a couple presses again, and it looses pressure and sticks to the floor, BUT! This time,as I push the clutch in, it makes a sound that sort of sounds like when one uses a hydraulic floor jack.

So far, my peddle sticks to the floor. its loosing pressure somewhere but I don't know were. It sounds like air is getting in, but fluid is not coming out.

To help a bit, I used the Haynes Manual for this, I disassembled my Mastercylinder almost completely, except for the pin thing, (it said don't touch that part)

If you know or think you know, help me out.

Ughh...this is not how you bleed the clutch.

Open valve, push clutch in, close valve, release clutch (bring up if sticking), repeat

the way I was teached was that you crack the valve, hold your thumb over the hole, have a buddy push the clutch in and out on the peddle until you can't hold back the hydraulic pressure, then tell him/her to hold the clutch down and you quickly close the valve.

We did that, then I got in and double checked the clutch by pushing in the clutch multiple times, but on the 3rd push, you hear the sound, on the 6th push, its light, and on the 8th, it sticks to the floor. I just sort of ballparked the timing of the pushes.

Get a bottle. fill half way with clean fluid. Loosen the bleeder valve. Place hose snuggly over bleeder vavle. Place hose with open end submerged in the bottle. Pump clutch until there are no more bubbles.

I'm going to try bleeding the clutch one of your guys ways. Aside from that, if this problem still occurs, what could it be?

Fixed!!!

I fixed my clutch problem, I put my Master Cylinder back together OK, I checked if the 2 12mm bolts were tight, they were. I put Teflon tape on the hardline and bled it my way(cus I'm selfish), and it works!!!

But thanks for giving all your input!
