Exclamation Help Me Please......

Heloo everyone....i need desperate help before i purchase a new tranny!

Ive seen theses questions in here but not quite the same.

The car is getting stuck in 1st and Reverse. If i double clutch i can get them out. Then the next day they wont go into gear on 1st and Reverse. A local mechanic told me to check the clutch fluid and the clutch adjustment. The fluid is at the proper level and i adjusted the clutch mulitple times. Now after you pull into gear and have the clutch pressed it still moves as if its in gear! So im guessin the clutch is not suppressing, but that could be due to my faulty adjustment. Now a good friend who is a mechanic tells me that the only thing that will make the problem happen in only certain gears would be the TRANNY SYNCROS. someone please help with advice i would appreciate it so much.

Synchs and check your slave cylinder and make sure the piston isn't sticking.

i have only had a very minor version of your problem. i was told and found through searching that my pilot bearing was dying/dead. it was time for a clutch job and changing everything fixed it. if you have to change the pilot bearing, you might as well change the clutch.
