Help me pick exhaust

I just bought a clean 91 TII. I used to be real into jeeps and i dont know too much about these cars...thats why im here =P

The car needs exhaust. ITS LOUD! i think the downpip has a hole in it.

My question is: What the biggest exhaust i can put on my car?

Couple of choices... this topic has been beaten to death. Remember that once you open up the exhaust, you're going to be experiencing boost creep (google it). You'll need an FCD and also to upgrade your fuel system as well. I changed mine to an Apex'i N1 and I'm creeping to about 8-9psi so I changed to a Walbro 255lph HP fuel pump.

Racing Beat makes a really nice exhaust for dual exit, arguably the best exhaust for the FC but it is pricey. Other options are the Corksport single exit (driver side), Apex'i N1 single exit (passenger side), and custom. The N1 is the biggest, loudest and most obnoxious exhaust imho. I have it and I can almost say that I hate it.

Anyways, just do a search. There's a million GOOD threads on this topic already. Hope that helps.

I'll have to say the Fujitsubo sounded quite awesome (it does appear to have 3 resonators afterall: One before split on the y-pipe, and one before each muffler... If I hadn't gotten the JIC Bullet dual, I would have gotten the Fujitsubo Legalis-R instead. Talk about a pricey exhaust though.

I currently have the Fujitsubo Legalis R. It is a very nice sounding exhaust and is very well made... but you pay up the yin yang for it.

Racing Beat full turbo back. Bit pricey at around $800 but its WELL worth the money. Best tone and all around good performance. Its amazing what they do to exhaust

I thought the claimed gain for the full turbo was 54 hp. And yes, they really mean that too.
Just remember, when you get a bigger exhaust, you have to do the propper fuel modifications. Fuel pump, FCD, etc. When adding more boost you also need to add a fuel controller and eventually larger injectors.
