Help me with my center console

The origional owner of my car removed the radio for who knows what reason. Anyway, the giant gaping area where the raio used to be is simply covered by a piece of cardboard that has been screwed in. I am going to get a new center console surround but is there anything that I can use to fill the area where the old radio was?

oops, don't I feel dumb. I forgot to mention (silly me) that there is another radio in the car now. That's why it didn't make any sense. It's not any better of a radio either. No CD no extra's, nothing. So there is a radio but there is still a large part of the console that is covered by cardboard. It's probably about 4" tall and about a console wide....

I don't even have a radio! I covered the gaping hole with a piece of flimsy pexiglass painted with black primer on one side. Screwed into the back of the console. It really looks a bit to shiny, but i figure at some point I will be putting something there, and its a good temp solution. BTW I use my laptop to play mp3's which go dircetly to an amplifier. So no need for a radio here.

Look up plastics shops in the yellow pages. They come out, measure it, cut it to spec, and voila!

Good luck

1fast2 Is (or was selling) Gauge Panels that filled that void awhile still allowing you to fit a deck In their. Your choice came In the Gauges being on top of the deck, vice-versa, 2 or 3 Gauge Holder.
