mine was idling for 30 mins without the AFM plugged in...

ur AFM might not be bad? when i did my T2 Swap, i had accidentally grounded out my O2 Sensor so it threw off every signal, so it idle'd without the afm, but when the afm was plugged in, it would shut off... check your sensors imo.

i dont think its grounded cuz i just unpluged it when i took off my intake and i didnt mess with the wiring
oh and when i hold my foot to the floor it just shuts off

thats with it pluged in and unpluged that it will do that but im going to try this other one when i get it
oh and i did a vac test and its got bout 17pds and i can get it to bout 25 when i rev it and let off

i took it all apart with a friend and we cleaned everything and we know its got no leaks and we i floor it it cuts out like its not getting fuel but i will have some look at my wiring
like its not getting fuel? are ur fuel rails put back on correctly?! maybe u swapped the fuel lines.... one is for in and one is for return... make sure u got the right one on the right way...
