how many miles on engine... it kinda sounds like it is blown.

get a compression check or do a search for blown motor. see what kinda info you can come up with.

Ugh, I'll ATTEMPT to translate.

"I'm driving normally and it's running good. Then, for no apparent reason, it backfires. Along with that, it cuts to half power for a while, then goes back to normal operation.

After a day or two (of sitting?), it will not start unless I put gas (what kind?) into the throttle body.

I put a new MAF sensor on and it runs ok, then after a while the previous symptoms occur.

Please help me. I'm attempting to search but it isn't helping. Also, please don't flame me even though nobody can understand my posts. I would really appreciate it if I could get help quickly."

+1.....

So you did a compression check? what were the numbers per rotor face?

as far as idleing goes, have you checked the TPS?, looked for vac line leaks? you know the simple stuff?

But you really need to work on typing clearly I seriously have only a very vague idea about what your problem is.......elaborate please.

Would it be possible for you to slow down and try to make things clearer? I'm not trying to bash on you or anything. It would just be a lot easier for people to help you if they got the right information in an understandable way.

Anyways, you can check the TPS using a multimeter. If you search there's threads on how to do it. Or you can use the FSM way.

You say you tested for compression (I think). What were the results, as asked by classicauto?
