Mazdatrix sells a custom driveshaft for only $288. However, there isn't much point in attaching a KAAZ differential to the weak NA transmission.

The stock NA drivetrain will work if you are easy on the car. The stock NA transmission usually breaks on race cars somewhere around 230bhp, so you may want to keep that in mind if you plan on driving your car very hard. There are cars well in excess of 400bhp that work fine with the stronger TurboII driveline.

^ I'm guessing he isnt using a NA tranny if he has a ford v8 in the car.

Oh, I thought he did that with a different car and didn't want to go through the trouble again. That would be too bad if the RX-7 has the V8 and custom driveshaft because the differential should have been switched to the TII standard prior to making the custom driveshaft.
