Help with idle please
Ok i have a 87 Tll that i did the throttle body mod on. I left the thermo wax hooked up i did the air pump removel and most of the thing that go with it. I put the intake and tb back on. I ran a pvc pipe from the turbo to the tb so i can start the car. Car started right up, idle at about 1500 rpm till it warm up then drop to 800-900 rpm all was good. I never drove the car becuse the car is not on the road yet, so i would start the car once a week and let it warm up this went on for about 3 weeks car ran good. So now, i start the car and let it run till it warms up car runs good so i turn it off and deside to put the tmic back on hooked up all the hoses and tighten every thing up. So i start the car and it runs like **** just about idles at 200-300 rpm and shakes and allmost dies when warm, when cold it idles at about 900-1000 rpm. when you give it gas it seems to run a little better. So i take the ic off and put the pvc pipe back on and start the car and it still runs like ****. I don't understand what could of happend. I checked for vacuum leaks by spraying starter fuel around the engine bay but could not find nothing. What could it be. I need some help from you pro's . Thanks Tony

Sure sounds like an air leak or a vacuum leak. Check for an air leak between the AFM and the manifold.
Hard to come up with the silver bullet solution from afar, so go through a systematic troubleshooting routine. Pull plugs and inspect, carefully check all intake and vacuum hoses, check for poor/loose grounds, and so on. Get the factory service manual for troubleshooting ideas. Links to the manual are found in the FAQ above.
