Shittttyyy...I was paranoid when I put on my block off plates...was it metal, hopefully you can get it out with a magnet.

i cant see the piece
it was gasket paper i dont know if it was metal.

i stuck a vacume in there but i cant find a piece in the vacume. do i have to get the piece out?
i just bought the engine and it didnt come with a gasket for the egr . my friend was cutting it and it fell in?

Take the LIM off and blow it out with an air compressor.

Get a high powered vac like a craftsman 5 hp shop vac and try to suck it out with that.Try to make a good seal around the engine and vac.That should get it out.

my engine was suspected of dieing when I droped a 1" big piece in the front intake runner, a week later front rotor was toast

Is there really a danger in leaving it in there, especially if it's paper? The exhaust flow travels up to the EGR valve anyway, and it begins in the exhaust manifold area. I don't see where the piece could be ingested if it fell down in that hole.
